Early Life and Career[]
Kelly was born as Lin Wei-hsi (Chinese: 林韋希) on January 16, 2002 in Taipei, Taiwan. Her family, consisting of her parents, moved to Kaohsiung when she was a child.
2020: Youth With You 2[]
In March 2020, Kelly became a contestant on the Chinese survival show Youth With You 2. She was eliminated in the show's tenth episode after ranking 64th place.[1]
On September 9, 2020, Kelly made her first appearance as a Kpop trainee in a vlog posted on the YouTube channel used by LIONGIRLS, the tentative group name for the female trainees of Lionheart Entertainment.[2] She was officially revealed as a member of TRI.BE on September 10.[3]
2021: Debut with TRI.BE[]
On September 10, 2020, Kelly was officially revealed as the sixth member of TRI.BE.[4] The group debuted on February 17, 2021 with their first single album "TRI.BE Da Loca".
